Schooners isn't technically a gay bar, but it's pretty damn gay. Same for Fliper's Tavern. There's also Luxor and Rewind if you're looking for more of a club scene. The only openly safe area I know of is Tumbleweed + Sage Coffeehouse in Wolfforth. Maybe you can network there and find some more places? Ummmm I know this is NOT the answer you want.
