Is jack randall gay

Diana Gabaldon took to her Facebook Page today to clarify the sexual preference of one of her characters, Black Jack Randall. Some reviews of Episode have noted that Jack Randall is gay based on his behavior in the episode.

So no, he isn't gay. We never see him together with Sandringham, but there tie is a business one that seems to be forged on mutual blackmail--BJR knows he's a jacobite/homosexual, while Sandringham knows BJR is an abusive rapist who exploits his power to torture the local population.
